Island

It's been a while since I posted! Ever since leaving school officially, I've been trying to explore more of Sydney and do more than just shop. So my friend and I headed to Cockatoo Island for the Graffiti Exhibition -

Taking the ferry from Circular Quay to the island. Felt like a tourist haha.

It was so lovely and sunny and hot - but recently the weather has been all glooooom. Rain ruins everything! So the more reason to stay indoors and sew like theres no tomorrow. Went fabric shopping with a friend and picked up some mint corduroy, embroidery thread, and tidbits for bracelets. I'm working on a skater dress with a circle skirt at the moment.. also did a lot of knitting for fun and friendship bracelet making for.. my friends aka me HAHA.

DIAMOND PAINTED CALICO TOTE

ALEX WANG INSPIRED BRALET + KNITTING

Top - Cut from a basic white shirt
Skirt - Self made out of mint chiffon
Gold Cuff - Vintage

Top - Cut/made from vintage skirt

Knitted galore! haha
I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to knitting so I started with a bandeau and braided straps.

The friendship bracelets I made using the thread i picked up. Also some new jelly flats in my favourite colour and my dad's watch that I like to pair with most of my jewellery!

I also visited the beach yesterday (Christmas!)
It was great, I'm in love with private/secluded beaches.. the water is so clear!

Sitting here enjoying caramel selections from Lindt and fresh summer mangoes

Hopefully blogging more often :) x

PS; I've been taking videos of my new house every time we visit (renovating is still going on)
Here's a small segment of what I've captured so far -
