Barbara

Barbara Palvin has definitely become one of my favourite models.. her look is so fresh and flawless. Anyway after discovering her mid last year, I finally decided to sketch a photograph of her.

I think it's definitely visible that my sketching ability has died down a bit.. so I'm hoping to improve!
Here is a progress snapshot:

And here is the final:

(the webcam shot looks a bit different cause my webcam making everything elongated haha)
Anyway, I'll probably post a few more sketches of other things in the near future,
In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your week/easter break
And eat as many eggs as you can : )

Mint

Picked up a pair of mint cut offs for 50c a few days ago and they weren't very "me".. They were huge, hipster cut and the edges had been frayed/worn (usually I like clean edges, minimal everything) so I decided to take them in at the sides, hike them up a bit and stitch a crotchet trim on that has been sitting in my sewing room for the past year or so.. I was going to add the trim to some pajama shorts yonks ago but they turned out pretty shit.. so here we go denim!

I guess this post was just so my blawwg didn't look so dead :3

Melbourne

The Melbourne art excursion was A-MAAAZZIINNGGG. Oh my god the highlight of my year, actually. We had to meet at around 5am (I know..effort) to catch the 7am flight (SYD>MELB). As soon as we got there it was galleries and galleries and galleries. Anywho, we had time to walk around op shops and vintage stores, where I found an incredible pair of peach cut offs with floral embroidery that were pretty much made to perfection - except for the price... Anyway, after that we went out for Italian in the city, yay!

SCALLOPED SHORTS - SELF MADE // CARDIGAN - GRANDMA'S // PETER PAN BLOUSE - THRIFTED // CRYSTAL NECKLACE - SELF MADE

On saturday, we had an early start and headed down to a narrow alley way filled with graffiti. Then, down to Brunswick St. via tram (yay!) for more galleries and shopppping!

PLEAT SKIRT - THRIFTED // CHANEL ICON TANK - THRIFTED // SANDALS - CITY BEACH

Just chillin with this Ganesh thing LOL. Bloody amazing day, I picked up a black turban and a fluffy pink winter wooly just in time for Autumn! : ) Later that night, we took the tram down to Lygon St. where we wandered off to eat dinnnnner.

Sad we had to leave so soon but I'm definitely going back, for atleast a few weeks!

Until next time x
